New Tai Chow opened at Hock Seng 1 Dataran Ara Damansara for dinner only. One of the most satisfying Tai Chow meals I had in a long time. As there was only three of us, we ordered small serving of Sweet Sour Pork, Garlic Fried Kai Lan, Deep fried salted egg sotong and Deep fried Talapia fish. All the dishes was surprisingly good. Their small serving was bigger than most other places and more than adequate for us. The price paid is comparable to food court Tai Chow but then this is a proper dinner Tai Chow place. Will I return?, most definitely yes. Next time, will try their Siong Tong Lala as recommended by the boss lady. Two thumbs up The Tai Chow place is located at Zone B.
4.5star for nasi lemak stall, run by a chinese aunty. Right next to the famous chicken stall. Went to dabao. The price for nasi+friedchicken+2vege is RM11 quite affordable. The fried chicken is not big drumstick, but just enough. Acar is my favourite, tast just right. Not too sour, not too much peanut. Keep come back to support aunty business.
Having our car service, within a walking distance we dropped by at Hock Seng Kopitiam for brunch. Mee jawa, chicken rice and roasted duck wonton mee graced the the table. It was a good eat
Typical Malaysian coffee shop that offers plenty of food choices. In fact, they have back to back shops. Some of the more popular stalls like chicken rice and curry noodles are located here. We had the Wonton Noodle with Roast Duck and Pork Noodles. Both were excellent. The Roast Duck was succulent and flavoursome, while the Pork Noodle was appetising and soothing. Will definitely return again.
Nice CKT, no egg but with chu yau cha RM 9 4/5/25 HS2, PJU1A/42 hawker food brunch at this newly open coffee shop 30/5/25 HS2.. wanted to eat Hakka mee, not open today or finish jor. KTT or prawn mee not bad also 4/6/25 HS2 good Hakka mee RM 9 10/6/25 HS2 fish head noodle RM 15 14/6/25 HS2 WTM RM 9
This hawker kopitiam is very busy. Car parking around this area is also difficult. There are many Chinese hawker stalls with many varieties of food. Popular stalls are hand made pan mee, prawn mee, braised pork knuckle and chicken rice (there are 2 stalls, the popular one is the kampung chicken stall). Prices here are slightly on the high side on the popular stalls.
2 shops kopitiam with ample seating. Authentic Penang Hokkien Mee and White Curry Mee. White Curry mee is the one previously selling in Chung Ling Alumni in PJ.
